10 uncommitted 2023 prospects that would be a dream scenario for Texas

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff have been unstoppable on the recruiting trail recently.

After landing a commitment from the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect in the country for the 2023 recruiting class, five-star quarterback Arch Manning, other highly rated recruits are now flocking to Austin.

The Longhorns currently have the No. 3 class in the nation with 19 commits at this time. Four of those players are top-50 overall prospects and Sarkisian’s staff does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon. Texas is in the mix for several other highly rated recruits that have set commitment dates in the near future.

Of the uncommitted prospects still on the board for the 2023 cycle, there are 10 that stand out and could ultimately be a dream scenario for Texas to close out the class.

There are a few recruits listed that Texas is seemingly extremely hot with, such as Cedric Baxter Jr., Derion Gullette and Jalen Hale. However, the Longhorns will have some stiff competition with names such as David Hicks, Duce Robinson and a few others. There’s also a newbie in the group who just recently received an offer from Texas earlier this month.

Here are 10 elite prospects offered by Texas that would be a best-case scenario to close out the class.
