Meet Class of 2024 USC target Tyseer Denmark

USC, Lincoln Riley get a third QB, JUCO product Jake Jensen

Tyseer Denmark will likely land at an elite Power Five football school. The 5-foot-11, 180-pounder has an impressive offer sheet that includes Penn State, Pitt, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, and Oregon, among several others.

Tyseer Denmark is a four-star ATH who will play wide receiver at the next level wherever he lands, but he also doubles as a defensive back in high school at Roman Catholic (Philadelphia). College coaching staffs recruit players at certain positions, but the practice of switching them to another position once inside the program is common. Getting someone with positional versatility is a bonus for a coaching staff which, depending on injuries and attrition, might have to move pieces around for its new roster heading into (or during) a season.

Denmark is ranked the 13th WR in the 2024 class and the 78th player overall.

Denmark is a slender wide receiver but has a solid frame. He could eventually fill out to a 6-0, 198-pound player who can attack the ball with a bully-like mentality. He has a well-rounded package of size, speed, hands, and playmaking ability. Denmark can line up anywhere on the field and is among the most versatile pass catchers in the 2024 class. He also has 4.5 speed and is both dynamic after the catch and able to run past an opposing corner.
