Final score prediction for Week 6

3 keys to a Jaguars victory in Week 5 vs. Texans

Fortunes have changed a bit for the Jacksonville Jaguars since they beat the Indianapolis Colts, 24-0, in Week 2.

After capping September with another blowout win, the Jaguars opened October with back-to-back ugly losses. Trevor Lawrence is struggling with turnovers, the Jaguars defense isn’t stopping the run well, and the coaching staff has inexplicably abandoned the run at the worst times.

Meanwhile, the Colts have won two of their last three, including an inexplicable win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

That’s why the Jaguars, less than a month removed from a thorough demolition of the Colts, are underdogs for the rematch in Indianapolis.

But there are also some things that are still the same. The Colts haven’t fixed their offensive line issues and have allowed Matt Ryan to be sacked an NFL-most 21 times. Ryan has also been a turnover machine who leads the league in both interceptions (seven) and fumbles (11).

With top two running backs, Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines, both out of action, scoring enough points to keep up with the Jaguars will be a tall ask. It’s hard to know what to expect out of the Jacksonville offense, but even a decent showing should be enough to get the job done.

Final score prediction: Jaguars 27, Colts 13
