NFL #ProDucks: Week 6 – University of Oregon Athletics

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Atlanta Falcons

Week six of the NFL regular season was headlined by #ProDucks Marcus Mariota and Kayvon Thibodeaux.

Mariota was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after a terrific performance in Atlanta’s 28-14 win over San Francisco, while Thibodeaux sealed a win for the New York Giants with his first career sack and forced fumble. 

There are currently 29 former Ducks under contract with 18 different NFL teams, including 18 #ProDucks on the active rosters of 13 different organizations going into week seven.

Atlanta Falcons (3-3)

  • QB Marcus Mariota completed 13-of-14 passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown in Atlanta’s 28-14 win over San Francisco. The 2014 Heisman Trophy winner got off to a terrific start, completing his first 13 passes of the game. Mariota finished with a 144.6 passer rating and completed an astounding 92.9 percent of his passes, becoming just the second player since 1950 with at least two passing touchdowns, 50 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and one or fewer incompletions in the same game. Mariota was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for week six. 


Baltimore Ravens (3-3)    


Cleveland Browns (2-4)

  • CB Thomas Graham Jr. did not play in Cleveland’s 38-15 loss to the Patriots.

  • TE Pharaoh Brown had two receptions for 21 yards against the Patriots.


Detroit Lions (1-4)

  • OL Penei Sewell and the Lions had their bye in week six.


Green Bay Packers (3-3)  

  • OL Jake Hanson played five snaps at right guard in Green Bay’s 27-10 loss to the Jets.


Houston Texans (1-3)


Indianapolis Colts (3-2)

  • DE DeForest Buckner finished with five tackles (three solo) and one sack in Indianapolis’ 34-27 win over Jacksonville.


Los Angeles Chargers (4-2)

  • QB Justin Herbert completed 37-of-57 passes for 238 yards in the Chargers’ 19-16 overtime win versus the Broncos on Monday Night Football. He surpassed 1,000 career completions in the win, and is currently tied for the NFL lead with 170 completions on the season.

Los Angeles Rams (3-3)

  • LB Justin Hollins recorded two three tackles (two solo) in the Rams’ 24-10 win over Carolina.

  • CB Troy Hill is currently on the Rams’ Reserve/Injured list.


Miami Dolphins (3-3)

  • S Jevon Holland had five tackles (five solo) in the Dolphins’ 24-16 loss to Minnesota. Holland has 29 total tackles on…
