Week 8 featured four exciting matchups across the Big 12 Conference as Oklahoma and Iowa State had bye weeks.
Two games featuring top 25 teams gave us more clarity about the championship contenders heading down the stretch.
No. 11 Oklahoma State used a strong second half to send No. 20 Texas home with a 41-34 loss. No. 8 TCU stayed unbeaten on the year after taking down No. 17 Kansas State 38-28. The Cowboys and Frogs sit in a great position in the conference standings.
Preseason favorite Baylor got back on track with a victory against Kansas in Waco. The Bears got off to a 28-3 first-half lead and held on to win 35-23. The Jayhawks are now 5-3 since its surprising 5-0 start to the season.
Texas Tech left no doubt in its dominant performance against West Virginia. The Red Raiders forced four turnovers in the 48-10 victory. Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton threw for 325 yards and two touchdowns.
