Texas linebacker receives scholarship offer

Huskers offer ’25 offensive tackles

A class of 2024 linebacker has received a scholarship offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Temerrick Johnson plays for Heritage High School out of Midlothian, Texas.

Over the last two seasons, Johnson has recorded 77 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 6.0 stats. The Texan currently has scholarship offers from 18 different schools.

The month of May has been a busy one for the defensive standout. Since May 5th, he has received six different offers, including Tulsa, Boise State, and Oregon State. Bowling Green, and Oklahoma State.

This offer is another example of Matt Rhule and the staff’s commitment to recruiting the state of Texas. Texas was once a hotbed of recruiting for the Cornhuskers and Nebraska is trying to recreate that pipeline to Lincoln.
