Dabo Swinney and the Tigers got revenge for last season’s loss to South Carolina, taking down the Gamecocks 16-7 on the road at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

It was a dominant performance for the Clemson defense, who carried this team to another win. This rivalry means a lot and a win like this will always feel great, regardless of how the season is going.

Following the game, Clemson players made a statement. Celebrating the win, star linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. ran to midfield and planted a Clemson flag at the 50-yard line. Check out the video below to see the Tigers celebrate while planting the flag.
