San Francisco defeated Detroit, 34-31, Sunday in the NFC championship game during the NFL playoffs.
Former Vol wide receiver Jauan Jennings recorded one reception for eight yards. He also totaled one tackle.
Jennings recorded five receptions for 61 yards in the NFC divisional round.
San Francisco selected Jennings in the seventh round (No. 217th overall) in the 2020 NFL draft. He was waived by the 49ers in Sept. 2020 and then later signed to the practice squad and injured reserve.
The former Vol appeared in 13 games for the 49ers in 2023. He totaled 19 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown.
Jennings appeared in 48 games at Tennessee from 2015-19, recording 146 receptions, 2,153 receiving yards, 93 rushing yards and 19 total touchdowns.
