2025 WR Taz Williams includes Aggies in Top 10

Aggies land in 2025 CB Cobey Sellers Top 6 list

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is shaping up to be a massive success for new head coach Mike Elko, who is just six months away from leading the Aggies on the field for the inaugural 2024 campaign.

On the wide receiver front, it has already been confirmed that 2025 4-star WR Kaliq Lockett will make his way to College Station for the Aggies Maroon & White Spring Game on April 20. As of Sunday, fellow 2025 4-star WR Taz Williams out of Red Oak, Texas, has included the Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list.

Already taking an unofficial visit to A&M on Feb. 3, Williams will consider the Aggies along with Alabama, Texas, Baylor, Ohio State, Michigan, SMU, Florida State, Penn State, and Georgia Tech.

Williams is still somewhat underrated (if you can believe that), as he is coming off his productive 2023 junior season, recording 80 receptions, 1,251 yards, and 14 touchdowns through the air, possessing the speed, quickness, and run-after-catch ability that has already awarded him nearly 50 offers so far.

After a successful campus visit, Williams plans to return to A&M as soon as this spring, and like Lockett, taking in the Aggies’ Spring Game to see what the new offensive coordinator has to offer is still on the table.

According to 247Sports Composite, Williams is currently positioned as the 241st-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 29th-ranked wide receiver, and the 41st-ranked player in Texas.
