With spring football fast approaching for Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers, we’ve been previewing the critical time in the calendar. So farm we’ve looked at breakout candidates, biggest questions and depth chart projections for both offense and defense.
This spring is critical for Luke Fickell and his Wisconsin program as it looks to find its place in the new era of the Big Ten. The Badgers have clear improvements to make after a 7-6 2023 campaign, improvements that must begin in spring before the season draws near.
Remember, last spring Phil Longo’s offense struggle with pace, snapping the ball and turnovers against a solid defense. Those issues continued to plague the team during the season. It is hoped some improvements will just be due to natural comfort in Year 2 of the Fickell and Longo era. But some could also be due to better talent at key positions.
