Alabama lands seven inside top 200 of 2024 NFL draft prospects

It’s officially draft season, folks! The 2024 NFL draft will get underway in a couple of weeks from Detroit and the Alabama Crimson Tide is expected to be heavily involved with the festivities.

With the draft closing in, analysts and experts are releasing mock drafts and big boards faster than we can react to them. On Sunday, our friend Jeff Risdon from Draft Wire released his top 200 prospects in the 2024 NFL draft and as expected it is littered with former members of the Crimson Tide football team.

In fact, a total of seven former Alabama football stars landed inside the top 200. Let’s take a look at where Mr. Risdon has them ranked.

No. 11 Terrion Arnold

Terrion Arnold is just scratching the surface of his potential at cornerback. With just two college seasons at corner, an NFL team will be getting a player with elite talent and tremendous upside.

No. 12 Dallas Turner

Dallas Turner is as pure a pass rusher as there is in the 2024 draft class. With long arms and elite quickness, Turner will be terrorizing NFL quarterbacks for many years to come.

No. 26 Kool-Aid McKinstry

You won’t find many corners with the man-to-man coverage skills like Kool-Aid. Although he doesn’t possess elite speed and quickness, McKinstry is consistently in good position and rarely gets beaten one-on-one.

No. 27 JC Latham

JC Latham played guard and tackle in college and has all of the ability to do the same in the NFL. I believe Latham will likely settle in as a right tackle and will enjoy a long and successful career.
