The San Antonio Brahmas, amidst some injuries, have added another running back. Morgan Ellison, the former Seattle Sea Dragon, has signed with the team.

Ellison is someone who instantly makes any UFL roster better. Ellison was with the Sea Dragons in 2023, and played quite well, although injuries hampered what was a productive season. He rushed for 254 yards and a touchdown, having one of the highest PFF grades of the year for Seattle.

He’s a downhill back, who has tremendous breakaway speed when he gets into open space. Morgan was originally picked up by the Arlington Renegades during the dispersal draft process, but surprisingly did not make it through the first round of cuts.

With John Lovett, Anthony McFarland, and Brycen Alleyne all producing nicely in San Antonio, it’ll be interesting to see how Ellison fits into A.J. Smith’s system.
