Defensively, the San Antonio Brahmas have dealt with quite a few injuries this year. This has led to Zach Morton signing with the team this week, following Zach McCloud being placed on the injured reserve list.

Now, the Brahmas have had their fair share of offensive injuries as well. It’s been a challenging season for San Antonio’s coaching staff, losing key pieces every single week.
With McCloud done for the season, Zach Morton enters the spring football scene for the first time. Morton began his college career at Syracuse, but hardly saw the field during his four years there.
After transferring to Akron, Zach made a name for himself the next two seasons. Across that span, he totaled 54 tackles, 5.5 sacks, and an interception.

This led to an NFL stint with the Detroit Lions, as Morton was with the team this past preseason. Now, he’ll look to kickstart his career in the UFL with the San Antonio Brahmas.
Zach McCloud To IR
McCloud being placed on IR is quite unfortunate for San Antonio. He played in just two games this year, but made an impact with four tackles and two sacks. Zach was just getting healthy again, so it’s a shame that his season is being cut short right when he was getting into a groove.

Zach finished his year with a 55.3 Defensive Grade via PFF.
