Texas A&M’s 2024 season will be the first for new head coach Mike Elko. He has already had a very productive offseason after landing nearly 30 players from the transfer portal, and his recruiting success with the 2025 cycle speaks for itself. In what we in the media call “talking season,” Elko has continued to make the rounds to the various A&M clubs this spring/summer.
On Tuesday, Elko stopped by the Forth Worth A&M Club to provide another preview of the Aggies’ talented roster, led by what should be one of the best defenses in the country, as former Purdue Edge Nic Scourton is coming off his Big Ten leading ten sacks in 2023.
Aggie fans are focused on how the offense will look with redshirt sophomore quarterback Conner Weigman returning to the lineup. However, the offensive line’s progress will likely make or break this team’s chances of winning more than eight games next season.
