Even after an 11-win season a year ago, many on the national level are afraid to buy into the Cleveland Browns.
After an offseason where they returned virtually every member of their top-ranked defensive unit from a year ago while adding pieces on offense as well (including overhauling their entire offensive staff), one would think the Browns would earn a bit of the benefit of the doubt in a positive direction.
This has not been the case, however, and much of that has to do with the unpredictable and volatile play of quarterback Deshaun Watson. The Browns will go as far as their quarterback can take them in 2024, even if they do get a healthy Nick Chubb for 12 games or more.
