Five weeks of the 2022 NFL season have now passed and a few former Nebraska Cornhuskers had good performances, especially on the defensive side.
Maliek Collins, Randy Gregory and Lavonte David all racked up multiple tackles, while Devine Ozigbo joined Ameer Abdullah as the second former Nebraska running back to see action in the NFL this season.
Offensive lineman Brendan Jaimes also made his season debut after beginning the year on injured reserve for the Los Angeles Chargers. Rookie cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt came off the IR this week for the Cincinnati Bengals as well, but did not play in their Week 5 contest.
Below is a list of the latest performances by Huskers in the NFL;
Collins put up three tackles with one of them being for loss in the Houston Texans’ 13-6 win over Jacksonville.
Maher continued his strong 2022 campaign with a perfect 3/3 mark on field goals and made his only extra point attempt on Sunday. His longest boot came from 40 yards and Dallas beat the Los Angeles Rams 22-10.
A quieter game by David’s standards, the Tampa Bay linebacker recorded five tackles in the Buccaneers’ 21-15 win over Atlanta.
